The Staff

At Wooster Ambulatory Surgery Center, we provide outpatient surgery in a multitude of specialties.
The staff is dedicated to providing a personal experience that is courteous, compassionate, and efficient.

I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Nursing from the University of Akron in 2005. I have worked in a surgical setting since 2006 coming to WASC in 2012. I enjoy spending my free time with my family, friends and our 3 dogs! I reside in Millersburg with my husband JB, and our children Jayce and Briella.

Cassie P. RN

I have been a nurse for 21 years, I started as a LPN in 1996 and then received my RN in 2008. I have worked in home health care, med/surg, and wound care. I live in Orville with my husband and two sons.

I graduated from Wayne County Schools Career Center’s Practical Nursing Program in 2006. I have worked in surgery and endoscopy since then. I live in Glenmont with my husband and 2 daughters, Chloe and Audrey.

I have been an LPN for 21 years with 17 of them being in the operating room as a scrub tech or surgical assistant. I live in Millersburg with my husband Ron. We have 2 sons Tyler and Trevor, in my spare time I enjoy going to the beach and spending time with my family and friends.

Frances W. RN

I began a career in the healthcare field as a nurse’s aide. I graduated from the Canton City Practical Nurse program in 2002. I obtained my associate degree in nursing from Stark State College in 2012 and my bachelor degree from Kent State University was received in 2015. My experiences prior to WASC involved nursing homes, emergency room, med/surg, telemetry and a jail nurse.

I have been a Registered Nurse for 18 years, my experience includes Endoscopy, Ambulatory Care and Home Health Nursing. For the past 8 years I have worked in Endoscopy and Ambulatory Care.

OR Scrub Tech/ Central Sterile

I graduated from Dalton High School in 2011, and I still live in Dalton with my husband, Jacob and son, Axel. I have worked for WASC since May 2016. In my free time I enjoy  sewing, playing with my son, hiking and camping, and spending time with my family.

I attended X-Ray School at Bethesda Naval Hospital earned an associate degree from George Washington University. I retired from Wooster Community Hospital in 2012, and have been working at WASC since 2011. I live in Medina with my wife, Sandy. We have 10 grandchildren.


Rachel F. RN


I graduated with my BSN from MedCentral College of Nursing and have been with WASC since 2014 in the pre-operative and PACU areas of the center, and most recently in the Pre-Admission Testing area. I previous worked as a Labor/Delivery nurse for 10 years and part-time in a pain management suite. When I’m not working, I enjoy photography, event planning and traveling with my husband Nathan and our 4 children; Addison, Kendra, Gabrielle and Theo.

I have been an RN since 2011, I earned my degree from Aultman College of Nursing and Health Sciences. I enjoy spending time with my family, coaching softball and as a co-owner of TNM Sports Academy LLC.

Emily W. RN

I earned my BSN from Walsh University in 2008. My previous experience before coming to WASC includes cardiac telemetry and ICU. In my free time I enjoy spending time with my husband and our two children.

I graduated from North Central State College in 2000 as an LPN. I have worked at WASC since its opening in 2008 in the pre-op and recovery room. I have taken charge of our pre-admission testing area.  I am married with 5 children and I enjoy my free time with my friends and family.

I attended Stark State College in 2010 and have worked in surgery, endoscopy, and sterile processing since then. I live in Baltic with my daughter, Brooklyn, and enjoy spending time with my family.

I earned my BSN from Kent State University in 2013. I have previously worked in cardiology and med/surg areas. I have worked at WASC since 2015 in pre-op, pacu, and PAT. In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with family, friends, and of course my two dogs, Resley and Tucker.

I graduated from Kent State University in 2013 with my BSN.  I previously worked at University Hospital and Aultman Hospital.  I have been at WASC since 2015 working in pre-op and PACU.

I have been with WASC since 2016. I live in Jeromesville with my husband Bob, we have raised 5 children and have 3 granddaughters.

I have been an RN since 1978. I have worked in different areas- CCU, Home health, Cardiac Rehab and Endoscopy. I have been in endoscopy the last 15 years, which has been my favorite. At WASC I enjoy meeting and assisting patients with the endoscopic procedures and recovering in the PACU after surgery. Outside of nursing, I enjoy spending time with family and friends and gardening.

I have been with WASC since 2017 and graduated from Triway High School in 2011.  I am a varsity cheerleading coach for Waynedale High School, advisor for Springville Cowpokes 4H Club and a member of Wayne County Boots, Paws and Troops.  I am also a dog mom to 3 huskies: Bella, Storm and Alaska.

Patient Collections

I started working at WASC in 2015. I began with scanning medical records and now I am the patient collections specialist. I love spending my free time with my daughter Aubrey, with family, and with friends.

Nurse Manager

I graduated from the Aultman Hospital School of Nursing in 2002 and obtained my BSN from Ohio University in 2014. I have been at WASC since April 2013 as a pre-op and post-op nurse. Prior to that, I worked in hospitals and home care. My experience includes orthopedics, cardiology, medical-surgical and ambulatory care. I enjoy spending my free time with my husband and 3 children.

I have been employed with WASC since 2010. I graduated with an Associate Degree of Applied Sciences in Medical Assisting. I live in the Tuslaw area with my husband, Joe and 2 children, Nick and Paige.

I graduated from Akron City Hospital’s Idabel Firestone School of Nursing in 1988 and have been working in perioperative services for almost 25 years. I assisted in starting and opening up WASC in 2008 and have guided the operation through numerous surveys, accreditations and inspections. Over the past 25 years I have earned the credential of CNOR-Certified Nurse Operating Room and CASC-Certified Administrator Surgery Center. I also have been credentialed as a RNFA, assisting the physicians in surgery. Prior to working in surgical services I worked in the Neonatal ICU at Akron City Hospital. I love coming to work at WASC and people that make it so special. I live in Dalton with my husband and our cat, I have 2 grown and married children who are currently serving in the United States Navy. I enjoy the outdoors, boating, hunting and maintaining our farm in southern Ohio.
